Every piece in the collection is selected personally, on the basis of more than 30 years of experience in antiques and art. We describe the period, material and condition of each object honestly, and any traces of wear, repair or restoration are noted in the description and visible in the photographs. The images show the very piece you will receive — we do not use generic photography.
Works of art and antiques are fragile and, more often than not, irreplaceable. Every order is packed individually, using protective materials suited to the size and fragility of the piece. For large or especially fragile objects we contact you beforehand, so we can agree together on the safest method of transport. Full details are on the Shipping and Payment page.
Almost everything in the shop exists in a single example. A piece once sold cannot be replaced, so we recommend writing to us early if something interests you.
