A distinctive bracelet worked in high relief (repousse) with fine detail, most probably from Tibet or Nepal, though it could also be from China (the Miao tribes) or Central Asia (Mongolia)

The bracelet is made of a base metal, possibly alpacca - it does not tarnish and bears no marks

Dimensions

  • Inner diameter, oval, approximately 60/50 mm
  • Width/diameter bracelet 16 mm
  • Very substantial - weight 65.16 grams

It is a piece suited to any collection of Asian ethnic jewellery, of very great visual impact and suitable for wear both for daywear and for special occasions
