On the verso, a label with the name of Osvaldo Bohm, the famous photographer and collector, with the woodcut wrongly attributed to Mattioli (Pietro Andrea Gregorio Mattioli).

 Born in Padua, Osvaldo Böhm was an art critic, publisher, and photographer. After purchasing the collection of Carlo Naya, who had founded a photography studio c. 1860, Böhm established his own photography firm, O. Böhm Fotografo-Editore, which existed until the 1980's. The firm is sometims refered to as "Archivio Naya-Böhm." The Venetian firm was located in the sestiere of San Marco at S. Moise 1349-50. Also active in the studio were Böhm's son-in-law Giuseppe Turio and grandson Francesco Turio Böhm, who still maintains the glass negatives. Since 1980 Francesco Böhm has continued contributing his own photographs to the archive. The Naya-Bohm Archive officially closed in 2005.
